I am excited to announce a remarkable opportunity to honor those who embody the spirit of community service and dedication that is so deeply woven into the fabric of our Canadian identity.

In celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation on May 6, 2023, a Canadian commemorative medal has been established, reflecting the values of service, environmental stewardship, and the rich diversity that characterizes our nation. This is a chance for me to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities, and to reflect on the profound impact these unsung heroes have on our lives.

To be eligible for this prestigious honor, nominees must have been alive on the date of the Coronation, and nominations can even be made posthumously, ensuring that the legacies of those who have passed are respected and remembered.

Please be aware that the nomination window closes on December 31, 2024, so I encourage you to act promptly and share this information with friends and family, fostering a collaborative spirit in our community.

Medal presentations in the Prince Albert Constituency in Spring 2025 will celebrate the remarkable contributions of our local heroes and reinforce our commitment to enhancing community engagement.
